Mohammad M. Shakhatreh Law Firm is an advocacy and legal consultancy practice in Amman, appearing before the civil and Sharia courts at every level. We designed and built its first website: Arabic-first with English alongside, statically prerendered on Next.js 16, with the firm's logo traced from a PDF into vector so it holds up at any size.
The challenge
A law firm's site has to earn trust before the first message, in two languages, and it must never become a liability. Arabic legal copy needs real typography, not a system fallback; a client's first description of their matter is privileged, so it cannot sit in a form database; and “lawyer in Amman” is a search fought over by directories.
What we built
Every one of the nine practice areas got its own page in both languages: an introduction, the concrete matters handled, and the questions people actually ask, which also feed FAQ structured data. Intake runs through WhatsApp: each call to action opens a chat with a message already written for that area, and the contact form composes its message in the browser and hands it to WhatsApp through a real link, so nothing is ever posted to a server. Arabic is the primary language at /ar with English at /en, a full hreflang cluster on every URL, and a site-wide JSON-LD graph (LegalService, Attorney, Person, breadcrumbs) plus llms.txt for AI answer engines, all generated from the same content files as the pages. The Arabic typography was tuned by hand: the font stack and every line-height are redefined under right-to-left, and the reveal animations are padded so Amiri's diacritics are never clipped.
The outcome
35 pages prerendered across the two languages, live at shakhatrehlaw.com on Vercel with no environment variables and no server-side state. Every enquiry arrives as a WhatsApp message on the lawyer's phone, already sorted by practice area.
